Mojito Cocktail 20cl

Experience the perfect Mojito every time with our Biggar Mojito, a pre-mixed cocktail featuring our award-winning Asian Spiced Rum.

Ingredients

Biggar Asian Spiced Rum, fresh lime juice, mint syrup, and soda water (not supplied) come together in this bold twist on a Mojito - zesty, cooling, and served best over crushed ice with a sprig of mint.

Instructions

The Mojito is best served in a long, tall glass, known as a highball.

1. Pour the cocktail (serves 2) into a cocktail shaker with ice
2. Shake vigourously for 15-20 seconds
3. Strain into a highball glass with plenty of ice in it, 
4. Top up with soda (you'll need to buy this separately)
5. Garnish with the provided lemon wheel
6. Add a sprig of fresh mint for the classic serve

Remember to get some soda water to use when serving this.

History of the Mojito

The Mojito’s roots trace back to 16th-century Cuba, where a drink called El Draque, made with lime, sugar, mint, and a primitive rum, was enjoyed both for refreshment and as a remedy against illness. Over the centuries, the recipe evolved into the bright, zesty highball we know today, with white rum taking centre stage. Popularised in Havana’s vibrant bars  the Mojito remains a timeless symbol of Cuban cocktail culture.
